Judith Ann Pierce, 72, after a brief illness, passed away at her residence in Kent, Ohio on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.

Judith was born in Newton, Iowa, to parents Maurice and Alice Rodgers on March 9, 1940. She enjoyed her career as a bookkeeper in the oil and gas industry. Judith enjoyed gardening and loved home design, always re-decorating her home. She had a passion for history and reading. Most of all she loved her grandchildren.

Judith is survived by her children, Rick (Vickie) Elliott of Newton, Nancy Elliott and Susan Davis (Jeff Rogers). She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Erik Davis, Nicole Davis, Daniel Crago and Morgan and Caitlin Elliott. Also surviving are Sandi Rodgers, Ann Marie (Julia), Joey (Andrea), Desiree (Mark) Schultz, Trisha (Mark) Giffels and Bill Scott.
