The Newton Aktion Club has released a new cookbook titled “Cooking with Aktion.”

The cookbook features a collection of delicious recipes compiled from Newton and central Iowa community members. Cookbooks may be purchased for $8 each with proceeds benefitting the Newton Aktion Club. The club was formed in 2005 under the auspices of Kiwanis International, Newton Noon Kiwanis and Newton Golden K Club. Aktion Clubs are designed to give people with disabilities the opportunity to work with one another within a club that provides service to their community.
