Theatre Central to perform classical Italian comedy

PELLA — Theatre Central will present “A Servant to Two Masters” as the final large performance of the fall season from Nov. 14 through 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pella Opera House.

A play of mistaken identities, reunited lovers and slapstick comedy, “A Servant to Two Masters” is full of plot twists sure to entertain all ages. The production follows the servant Truffaldino as he juggles two masters, with mayhem breaking loose.

Originally written in 1753 by Carlo Goldoni as an Italian comedy, director Mary Jo Sodd said the students are thrilled to be performing the classical work.
