Mingo firefighters endorse Halferty for sheriff
To the editor:
The Mingo Fire Department endorses John Halferty for Jasper County Sheriff. John has been a member of the fire department for 12 years. He has dedicated countless hours to our community.
John has been very involved in the remodeling of the fire station, written grants for the fire department and continually provides exceptional leadership. His strong communication skills are a benefit during scene coordination.
