Choices provides website to help local Christians connect

Julie Jones and her husband, Larry, owners of Choices Christian Book Store in downtown Newton, launched a website earlier this year in an attempt to help area Christians connect with one another.

In addition to promoting their store, the website www.choicesstore.com also features a community events page. The store also has a number of events coming up, including a book signing this weekend.

Marilyn Schuler of Grinnell has had her second book, “Raven’s Mission,” published. Her first book, “A Big Day for Jack,” came out in March. A book signing event will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.
