Daryl Gene ‘Spook’ Terlouw

Daryl Gene “Spook” Terlouw, 61, of Newton died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, in Newton.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery in rural Lynnville.

Memorials in Daryl “Spook” Terlouw’s name may be left at the funeral home.

Daryl is survived by his son, Russell (Tina) Terlouw of Newton; his grandchildren, Avery and Corey Terlouw; his mother, Donna Terlouw of Lynnville; his brothers, Dave (Cynthia) Terlouw of Benson, Minn., Dennis (Gail) Terlouw of Newton and Doug (Lori) Terlouw of Sully; his nieces and Nephews, Nicole, Naomi, Noah, Emily, Mariah and Kyle; and his aunts and uncles, Jenny Terlouw, Robert Terlouw and Hank Terlouw, all of Grinnell.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Terlouw, in 1995.
