'Goldilocks & the Three Bears' opens April 24 in Amana

AMANA — The Old Creamery Theatre for Young Audiences musical production of "Goldilocks & the Three Bears" opens April 24 on the main stage in Amana.

Told as only The Old Creamery can tell it, you won’t want to miss what happens when Goldilocks — the star of the famous Choco-Pops commercial — meets up with Baby Bear, who just happens to be longing for Choco-Pops instead of porridge. Throw in Mr. and Mrs. Human and Mama and Papa Bear, for an afternoon of entertainment and fun for all that is just right.

The cast of "Goldilocks & the Three Bears" includes Nicholas Hodge of Marion, Carrie Novell of New York, Deborah Kennedy of East Amana, Sean McCall of Marengo, Jackie McCall of Marengo and D. Allan Boettger of Cedar Rapids.

Cost is $7.50 per person for general admission seating. "Goldilocks & the Three Bears" books and lyrics are by Gene Mackey and music by Cheryl Benge. The show runs through May 8 with performances at 1 p.m. Saturdays.
