Wilma Modlin, 76, formerly of Newton, died on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at the Taylor House in Des Moines. Funeral services were held today, Friday, Sept. 26, at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, Ark. Survivors include her son, Raymond J. (Ruby) Modlin of Des Moines, and her daughter, RoseAnn (James J.) Baker of Newton. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. O. “Jr.” Modlin in 2002.*
