CHS Class of 1970 celebrates reunion

Members of the Colfax High School class of 1970 met for their 50th reunion after a two-year wait due to COVID May 27-28. After a two-year delay due to COVID, the Colfax High School Class of 1970 was able to celebrate its 50th (actually 52nd) reunion. The festivities started May 27 with a gathering and supper at the Colfax Golf Course Clubhouse. On May 28, the group had a reunion luncheon at the Colfax Historical Building. Besides having the museum open to enjoy, there were tables filled with memorabilia to recall those school days. In the early evening, the group toured the high school building and grounds before the Colfax-Mingo Alumni Banquet. After the banquet, some continued the party at Georgio’s.

Many attendees had the opportunity to renew friendships and relive times growing up in Colfax and participating in school activities.
