Jasper County Concert Association season postponed

The Jasper County Concert Association is announcing that all concerts are being postponed until the fall of 2021. This applies to concerts in Marshalltown and Indianola as well.

Allied Concert Services, which schedules the concerts for the Association, has announced that all artists scheduled for the 2020-21 season will be rescheduled for the 2021-22 season. This means that during the 2021-22 season members will be seeing six concerts instead of the usual four concerts, because two concerts for the spring of 2020 had to be canceled. If you have purchased a membership in the Association, please know that your membership is secure. As soon as the concert dates are available for the 2021-22 season, a ticket will be issued. The membership of community members in the Association if truly appreciated. The Board looks forward to seeing everyone in person again.

Because of the change, JCCA will not be conducting its annual patron drive this fall. However, as you consider your end giving, if you would like to make a donation, it would be sincerely appreciated. A goal of the JCCA Board is to increase the quality of the performers we bring to our community. Any additional funds we receive will help us work toward that goal. Donations may be mailed to JCCA, Box 1252, Newton,Iowa 50208.

As we are living through this pandemic, we all are realizing the importance of live entertainment and how much it is being missed. Hopefully by next fall we can again enjoy gathering together to enjoy live performers in our beautiful performing arts center.
