BCLUW ends season for L-S volleyball

CONRAD — Lynnville-Sully's volleyball team evened its match with BCLUW with a set two victory, but BCLUW regained momentum in the final two sets and eliminated the Hawks with a four-set home win on Wednesday.

BCLUW won the Class 1A Region 4 quarterfinal match 25-16, 18-25, 25-12, 25-12 inside the Comets' Roundhouse.

Cayler Noun Harder had a double-double to lead the Hawks with 13 assists and 10 digs, while Korinne Jansen added six kills and 15 digs.

Krystal Van Dyke had a team-high seven kills and added three blocks and four digs, Denali Conover chipped in three kills, three aces and 15 digs and Aliya James finished with 11 digs.

Jaden Brand had six digs and Cally Gibbs put down a pair of kills.

The Hawks (12-8), who used only seven players in the match, were 56-of-59 in serves. Conover led the way at 13-of-13, Brand was 11-of-11 and Jansen finished 7-of-7. Gibbs served 9-of-10 and Van Dyke and Noun Harder were both 8-of-9.

BCLUW (20-15) was led by Lizzie Garber, who finished with 20 kills, 15 assists and 11 digs. Eden Wilson added 25 kills.
