‘A’s that Pay’

Advantage Credit Union in Newton launched a program aimed at helping elementary students learn to save money. The program “A’s that Pay” rewards students for getting good grades on their semester report cards. For every “A” or grade equivalent, the student will earn four dollars. For every “B” or grade equivalent, students will earn two dollars.

In order to qualify for the “A’s that Pay” program, the student must currently have an account at the credit union or start a savings account at the credit union. Savings accounts require a $25 deposit to open and must have a parent or grandparent on the account as well as the student. Students have until Feb. 29 to bring in report cards to be eligible for the fall semester program.
