My parents recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary by dining at Yanni’s in Newton. When they went to pay, they were told their bill was paid for. When they got home they called to thank me, assuming I had called the restaurant after they told me where they were going. However, it wasn’t me. I really wished I would have thought to do that.
Another couple in the restaurant took care of their bill. I don’t know if they knew my parents or just overheard them talking about their anniversary.
I hope the couple is reading this so that I can say thank you. What a nice thing to do!
