CMB junior Zach Samson (13) and sophomore Patrick Girard (71) take down Roland-Story running back Joe Gast during the Raiders’ 35-28 loss to the Norsemen in Maxwell Friday night. Samson finished the game with 241 passing yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 133 yards and another touchdown. After a late Norsemen touchdown and failed two-point conversion, Samson led the Raiders down the field and was stopped just short of the goal line as time expired.
