Newton's Annual 4th of July Celebration

The threat of triple digit temperatures did not deter area residents from turning out for Newton’s annual Fourth of July parade. Nor did the temperatures stop participants from marching in the event. Here is a look at the parade and some of the events that took place the rest of the day.
