Passing

— Drew Brees, Saints, threw for 298 yards and three TDs in handing Atlanta its first loss, 31-27.

— Peyton Manning, Broncos, was 27 for 38 for 301 yards and one TD in a 36-14 victory at Carolina. Manning threw his 420th touchdown pass to move into a tie for second place on the NFL’s career list with Dan Marino. He trails only Brett Favre (508).

— Josh Freeman, Bucs, passed for two TDs in a 34-24 win over San Diego and has thrown for 13 TDs with just one interception in his past five games.

— Joe Flacco, Ravens, threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns as Baltimore set a club record with 55 points in a 55-20 romp over Oakland.

— Andy Dalton, Bengals, threw a career-high four touchdown passes — each to a different receiver — to beat the New York Giants 31-13.

Rushing

— Adrian Peterson, Vikings, raced 61 yards for the game-sealing touchdown and had 171 yards on 27 carries in a 34-24 victory over Detroit. Peterson has 1,128 yards rushing.

— Chris Johnson, Titans, became the first rusher to gain 100 yards on the ground against Miami in the past 23 games. He had 126 yards on 23 carries and one score.

— Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks, had 124 yards rushing and a 1-yard TD plunge in a 28-7 rout of the Jets. He has 1,005 yards rushing for the season.

— Arian Foster, Texans, had 29 carries for 102 yards and added a 2-yard TD reception in Houston’s 13-6 win over Chicago.

— Steven Jackson, Rams, rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown in a 24-24 tie with the 49ers.

Receiving

— TE Jimmy Graham, Saints, caught seven passes for a career-best 146 yards and two touchdowns as New Orleans beat Atlanta 31-27. Tony Gonzalez, Falcons, finished with 11 catches for 122 yards and two scores while becoming the first tight end to catch 100 touchdown passes. He now has 101.
