Monday will feature elementary through sixth grade students, while seventh through 12th grade students will have their sessions Tuesday. Session 1 on Monday will involve pitching and catching instruction from 2 to 3 p.m. The hitting instruction session will run from 3:15 to 4 p.m. Tuesday will feature the pitching and catching session from 2 to 3:15 p.m., while the hitting clinic is scheduled from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Instruction will come from Newton head softball coach Gary Grimes and his high school student athletes. The cost of the clinic is $15 for one session or $25 for both. Students must have a glove, hat and helmet. Pitchers must have a catcher or adult for pitching sessions. Catchers must have catching equipment for catching instruction and drills. All students also must have a parent waiver and release signed before the clinics begin.
