Library hosting ‘Spiders, Snakes and Bats: Truth vs. Myth’ Thursday

The Newton Public Library will host a program titled “Spiders, Snake and Bats: The Truth vs. the Myth” presented by Ron DeArmond of the Pella Wildlife Company on Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the library meeting room.

Attendees will learn more about these useful creatures and how they enhance our lives. There will be some spiders and snakes to view at the program, which is for children ages 5 and up and their families. Pre-registration is required. Call the library at (641) 792-4108 to register.
