Christmas in July set for July 23

A Christmas in July benefit fundraiser for the St. Nick’s Christmas Club is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at the Newton Masonic Temple at 208 First Ave. W.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The dinner, prepared by Bob Howe, will feature roast pork sandwiches, beans, potato salad, homemade pie and ice cream, and beverages.
