Expert to discuss lean methods at June 25 luncheon hosted by NDC
The Newton Development Corporation and the Jasper County Economic Development Corporation will host a lunch event on June 25 on how companies can use lean methods to “retool” their training and development for higher performance and cost savings.
The fast-paced, interactive event will be on Thursday, June 25, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the DMACC Newton Campus in Room 258. Registration is $50 and includes a box lunch and beverage. For more information or to register, call (641) 787-8210.
The featured speaker will be Todd Hudson of the Maverick Institute, a Boulder, Colo.-based think tank for innovation in knowledge sharing. Hudson is a nationally recognized speaker. His witty delivery, high energy and surprise-a-minute teachings send listeners back to their jobs with practical ideas they can implement right away.
