Saturday fire damages Midwest Manufacturing

A fire at Midwest Manufacturing in Kellogg on Saturday caused an unknown amount of damage to one of the older buildings at the facility. The call came shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, and Kellogg Fire Department was assisted by Newton, Sully, Grinnell and Gilman fire departments.

The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire today, but Kellogg firefighter Denny Stevenson said he did not suspect foul play.
