Morgan appointed minister for Kellogg 
and Pleasant View Methodist Churches

DES MOINES — Iowa Bishop Julius C. Trimble has announced the appointment of the Rev. Tim Morgan as pastor for both the Kellogg and Pleasant View United Methodist Churches. 

This appointment becomes effective July 1.

Rev. Morgan attended Local Pastor Licensing School at Wesley Center in Alexandria, La., and graduated from Brown College with a Federal Broadcasting License.

He begins service to The United Methodist Church in 2009. 

His special ministerial gifts include preaching, small group ministry, Stephen Ministry and Chrysalis Spiritual Director.

He has been married to his wife, Sandra for 28 years, and they have a daughter, Lauren who attends the University of Northern Iowa.

He is looking forward to getting settled into the community.

He has been a Christian radio announcer and is the former owner of Morgan Jewelers in Newton.
