Article:	Masons rededicate courthouse cornerstone on its centennial Apparently, the original cornerstone of the Jasper County Courthouse was “well formed, true and trusty, and correctly laid,” as it has stood the test of time for the past 100 years. A rededication ceremony for the cornerstone, celebrating the 100th anniversary of its laying was held Friday, conducted by the Grand Lodge of Iowa A.F.&A.M., and the Newton Lodge #859.
