Creating Web Pages class offered on May 19

GRINNELL — Iowa Valley Continuing Education will offer a class titled “Creating Web Pages” on Tuesday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Iowa Valley Grinnell, 123 Sixth Ave. W. in Grinnell, in Room 107.

Creating Web pages will teach the basics of understanding Web design. Participants will learn the importance of a properly designed Web site. This course will cover formatting, navigation, search engine optimization and promotion of a Web site. Each participant will build a Web page and understand its elements and possibilities. The cost is $80, and materials are included.
