Hawks break out brooms

SULLY — Lynnville-Sully boys basketball coach Nick Harthoorn couldn’t have asked for a better start to the 2008-09 season. The Hawks had three players score in double-figures as Lynnville-Sully rolled to a 72-35 season-opening victory over Tri-County on Tuesday night. Danny Zegers led L-S with 15 points while Nick Beyer collected 12 points. Zach Stafford was also in double-figures with 11 as 11 different players scored in the win. “It was fun to watch the guys play so well together,” said Harthoorn. “They really shot the ball well tonight.
