Raider girls beat W-G, lose to South Hamilton

Behind 20 points, six rebounds and five steals from senior Julia Robinson and nine points, 11 rebounds and two steals from senior Jordan Maher, the Collins-Maxwell-Baxter girls basketball team scored a victory in its season opener last week, downing Woodward-Granger on the road, 56-47. The game was tied after one quarter, and CMB actually trailed at halftime before outscoring the Lady Hawks, 16-6, in the third quarter. Robinson was 9-of-14 from the floor and also had three assists. Maher hit 5-of-6 from the line, while fellow senior Mackenzie Petermeier scored 12 points and had five rebounds.
