More results of local participants winning at the Iowa State Fair

Here are more Jasper County residents’ results from this year’s edition of the Iowa State Fair, as reported to the Daily News by readMedia Newswire: • Gordon Anderson received a first place in the novelty, most colorful, non-commercial category for his 1930 Model A in the Iowa State Fair Parade, judged Aug. 6. • James Farm of Searsboro won the Reserve Grand Champion Female in the Red Angus Open Show, held Aug. 15 at the Iowa State Fair. In the Junior Show, Aly James of Searsboro won the Grand Champion Female banner with her Champion Junior Heifer. Division winners in the Red Angus Open Show include James Red Angus with the Champion Heifer calf, and the Reserve Champion Bull Calf; and Nolin Red Angus of Monroe with the Reserve Champion Bull
