Article:	Newton Baseball Hall of fame Former Newton standouts and brothers Bill and Larry Nelson were inducted into the Newton Baseball Hall of Fame this past Saturday during the Cardinal Invitational at Eversman Field. Bill Nelson was a member of the 1969 team that qualified for the state tournament. He lettered in four sports at Newton and then lettered in football and baseball at Wartburg College. He has taught and coached in Iowa for 33 years and is a member of the Iowa Football Coaches Hall of Fame. He is currently the head football coach at Skyview High School in Thornton, Colo.
