Otto appointed to new post

Special to Daily News Newton Attorney Mark A. Otto has been appointed by Dan A. Moore, president-elect of the Iowa State Bar Association, as chair of the Real Estate and Title Law Section Council. The council is the governing board of the Real Estate & Title Law Section of the Bar, which reports on developments in those areas and facilitates the practice of real estate law in Iowa. Otto is a partner in Brierly Charnetski L.L.P. with offices in Newton, Grinnell and Sully. He has practiced for more than 25 years in the areas of real estate, wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, taxation, corporate and business law. He resides in rural Colfax. The Iowa State Bar Association includes about 7,800 lawyers and judge and is the oldest voluntary Bar Association in the United States.
