To the Editor: Those Democrats who think that the presidential election will be a cake walk for our party are walking in a dream. John McCain may well be the next president, unless Barack Obama is our candidate. Make no mistake about it, if Hillary Clinton wins the nomination by the super delegate or is able to count the votes from Michigan or Florida which should not count, then a majority of black Democrats and black Independents will stay home on election day.
