Keith Pierce Warrick, 81, of Colfax, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, at Trinity Center at Luther Park in Des Moines. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Burial will follow at McKeever Cemetery. Visitation for Keith will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left for the family at coburnfuneralhomes.com.

The son of Roy William and Gertrude Blanche (Pierce) Warrick, Keith was born April 8, 1938, in rural Colfax. Keith graduated from Mingo High School in 1956. On June 7, 1959, Keith was united in marriage to Mona Stevens in Colfax. Keith worked in sales for more than 50 years. He worked for many years at Eureka, retired and went to work at Farver Hardware. It was here he realized he needed to be out on the road and went to work for Oreck, retiring for good in 2009. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Colfax, a charter member of the Colfax Kiwanis, served as Lt. Governor for Kiwanis and the Gideon’s. Keith also served on the Colfax City Council and served as mayor of Colfax.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife of more than 60 years, Mona; two children, Brian (Carolyn) Warrick and Annette (Mike) McGill; 10 grandchildren, Krista (Brady) Lewis, Blake Warrick, Brock Warrick, Kira Warrick, Micah McGill, Josiah McGill, Autumn McGill, Tanner (Stacey) Kinsella, Tori (Levi Lear) Kinsella and Trevor (Brooke) Kinsella; four great-grandchildren, Kasey, Kaden, Raygen and Anastasia; a brother-in-law, Joe Conley; sister-in-law, Louaine (Gene) Vande Lune; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Keith in death were his parents; a daughter, Mila; two sisters, Vonda Lee Williams and Joy Conley; a sister-in-law, Rhonda McClannahan; and two brothers-in-law, Walter Williams and Harlan McClannahan.
