Lawyer in the Library: Writing your will

Personal wills and estate planning are not topics we like to think about, but are a crucial part of ensuring that our homes and families are taken care of when the time comes. Does your family know what your plans are? Have you prepared the necessary paperwork to ensure these plans can be fulfilled? Find the answers to these common concerns and learn how to plan your own will at the “Lawyer in the Library” event at the Newton Public Library.

Join local lawyers, Bruce Nuzum, Hilary Montalvo and Michael Arleth for an informative presentation on writing personal wills at the Library. The presentation will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 24. Don’t forget to bring your own questions.

This program is sponsored by the Iowa State Bar Association, Iowa Legal Aid, Polk County Volunteer Lawyers Project and the State Library of Iowa. The program is free to attend and is open to the public. No registration required.
