A woman from Grinnell is charged with shoplifting at Walmart stealing school supplies (for her children?) because she didn’t have the money to buy them. Isn’t there any place out there who could help this poor woman?
We were poor growing up, but my mom could always muster out money for her six kids. Then we didn’t have to supply our own Kleenex, hand wipes, etc. for the whole room. How do parents with several children do it these days?
Shame on society if we can’t help this poor lady who now has a police record who is trying to send her children to school.
