The top canners of meats and sauces put their best creations to the test in the Canned Savory Sauces, Meats and Poultry competition, judged Aug. 6, prior to the start of the 2019 Iowa State Fair.
Jeffrey King of Newton, earned second place in the chicken or turkey category and took home third place in the spaghetti sauce without meat division.
