Newton Police Department
• Benny Kirichuk, 45, of Newton, was charged with violation of a no contact order at 2 p.m. July 18 in the 2300 block of Law Center Drive. According to the Newton Police Department, Kirichuk called the victim from the Jasper County Jail phone and left her a voicemail. Officers interviewed Kirichuk and he admitted that he was aware of the no contact order with the victim.
