MONTEZUMA — Colbee Cunningham didn’t need a lot of offensive support on Thursday.

Colfax-Mingo (15-4 overall, 12-2 in the SICL) scored twice in the fourth, three times in the sixth and three times in the seventh.
In the second, Doty doubled to left field and Slycord was intentionally walked. Rawlins made it 1-0 with an RBI single and Russell drove in Slycord with an RBI ground out.
In the three-run sixth, Doty walked, Slycord doubled and Rawlins was intentionally walked to load the bases. Russell’s two-run single made it 5-0. Gilkison then singled, Delaney and Carley Underwood drew back-to-back walks and Rawlins scored on a passed ball.
In the seventh, Doty singled and then scored on Slycord’s two-run blast to center field. Rawlins and Gilkison both singled and an RBI single by Carley Underwood capped the game’s scoring at 8-0.
