Hill leads C-M boys track to seventh at Martensdale

MARTENSDALE — Zarek Hill claimed the only win, and Colfax-Mingo’s boys’ track and field team collected five top-five finishes at the Martensdale-St. Marys Boys Invitational on Thursday.

Hill won the 400-meter hurdles (57.31 seconds) and scored 17.5 of the team’s 34.5 points as the Tigerhawks were seventh in the 11-team field.

Madrid won the team title with 186.5 points.

Colfax-Mingo competes at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Eddyville.
