Night of Stars again was a huge success for our community. This wonderful event celebrated its 27th anniversary April 13 to benefit Iowa River Hospice and The American Cancer Society.
The entire Night of Stars committee, led by Susan Krough, Kyley Leger, Brain Leger and Jonell Wittkop, did a fabulous job orchestrating this awesome fundraiser. So many people and businesses contributed to this important event from donating items to the auction to providing financial support for the underwriting. The support was unbelievable.
The event raised more than $80,000 — absolutely incredible. Auctioneer David Boldt, Spanky & Sons made the bidding process fun and interactive.
I want to give a huge heartfelt thank you to all that contributed to make this night extra special. All the proceeds raised will help in so many ways to provide compassionate, extraordinary end of life care and support to patients and families. Your generosity is amazing. I am overwhelmed with all the community support that makes this local hospice what it is.
Iowa River Hospice (IRH) will always: Identify, Recognize, Hope and you make that possible.
