ALTOONA — Senior Andrew Van Ryswyk shot a 79 and senior Reed Worth carded an 82 in his first tournament of the season and PCM’s boys’ golf team placed second at the annual 18-hole Bondurant-Farrar Invitational at Terrace Hills Golf Course on April 8.
Van Ryswyk was the runner-up medalist, and he led the Mustangs to a 340 team score. Nevada, whose best golfer was medalist and shot a 68, won the tournament with a 312.
Worth’s 82 was PCM’s second-best score, and the other two counting scores came from sophomores Andrew Mitchell (89) and Grant Landgrebe (90). Sophomores Gabe Lanphier and Gatlin Boell had non-counting scores of 92 and 95, respectively.
The Mustangs are back in action at 9 a.m. on April 11 at Jester Park Golf Course in Granger.
