Mary Lou Kaloupek

Mary Lou Kaloupek, 87, of Newton, passed away March 4, 2019, at her home in Newton.

Mary Lou’s memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 11 at the St. Luke United Methodist Church, 501 E. 19th St. N. in Newton. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service with a lunch at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo, Iowa. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Mary Lou’s name. A memorial fund is being established for her favorite charities (Please make checks payable to Jack Kaloupek.) Memorials may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory or at the church on the morning of the service. If mailing the memorial to the funeral home, please add, Attn: Kaloupek Family on the envelope.

Mary Lou is survived by her brother, Jack, and his wife, Mary Louise Kaloupek of Kerrville, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Mary FayeKaloupek of Toledo and Marrina Kaloupek of Grinnell; and one brother-in-law, Charles Willer of Marshalltown; many nieces and nephews; and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Leland Kaloupek, Charles Kaloupek, Robert Kaloupek and Douglas Kaloupek; and one sister, Phyllis Willer.​
