Talsma a fresh face

This year’s Jasper County Supervisors race brings a new face, or should I say beard, to this important part of our local government. Brandon Talsma is a refreshing change. If you’ve been following his videos, and I strongly encourage you to, you will find him to be smart, accurate and on point. Brandon is bringing issues to the surface that Jasper County has been bickering over for a decade. Or they completely ignored them altogether. Issues that people who drive the back roads of the county can certainly relate to. Our roads are falling apart. Literally. The current supervisors seem to try to hide this issue. Our farmers are in danger on these roads. Our children on buses and in cars going to school are in danger. Roadways just drop away. Most haven’t had new gravel in years and have turned into dirt and mud ruts. Our farmers pay astronomical taxes and are the breadbasket of our country. We need this fresh, new young man on our board. This is not a partisan issue. This is an issue that affects all of us. Regardless if you are Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian or you are still unsure, research Brandon Talsma, his incredible family, values and work ethics. When you are done please “Vote for the Beard.”
