• Jessica A. Hofer, 31, of Prairie City, was charged with domestic abuse assault with intent to inflict serious injury at 6:53 p.m. Sunday. According to a report from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, Hofer allegedly assaulted her daughter when she punched her in the face causing a bloody nose and a busted lip. Hofer was arrested and transported from her residence in the 5800 block of West 92nd Street South to Jasper County Jail.
