Jason L. Christian

Jason L. Christian, 47, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, in Keller, Texas.

Jason was born June 28, 1971, in Roland, the youngest of four children, to Jerry and Sandra (Hakes) Christian. He graduated from Indianola High School in 1990, and from the University of Northern Iowa in 1995. Jason met the love of his life, Jessica (Koppin) Christian, at UNI and they were married in Newton, Sept. 20, 1997.

They started their lives as husband and wife in Virginia, but in 2002, relocated to Texas for Jason’s career. The two made Keller, Texas, their home and later that year welcomed their first child, Lydia (15). Two years later, Jack “Lochlan” (13) arrived, completing their family.

Jason is survived by his wife, Jessica; and their daughter, Lydia, and son, Lochlan. He also leaves to his memory his mother and father; his father-in-law, Duane Koppin of Newton; three siblings, Angie Molenburg of Ames, Jeff (Lisa) Christian of Phoenix, Ariz., and John (Karla) Christian of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews, Kendra Molenburg, Tyler Molenburg, Catherine Christian, Michael Christian, Tatum Grell, Reese Grell, Joshua Christian and Jonah Christian.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Lucille Christian and Orval and Arlene Hakes; and by his mother-in-law, Betty Koppin.
