Hawkeye Athletics to host Baxter Community Day on Sept.1

IOWA CITY — Baxter Community Day hosted by the Iowa Hawkeyes is Sept. 1 during the Iowa vs. Northern Illinois football game at Kinnick Stadium. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m.

Any member of the Baxter community can purchase an unlimited number of $35 group rate adult tickets and $25 youth tickets.

The single game ticket price is $50 per seat.

“There is nothing like experiencing a Hawkeye football game a Kinnick Stadium,” said Charlie Taylor, Associate Athletics Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing. “We hope the community of Baxter and its residents will have a significant presence in the stadium and enjoy game day on the UI campus.

“We are proud to offer easy access to tickets for the community for this game,” Taylor added, noting the ticket program is available to any community in the state.
