Jack M. Nicholson

Jack Meredith Nicholson, 88, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Jack’s memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23 at the First Presbyterian Church, 220 N. Second Ave. E. in Newton. The family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 22 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home & Crematoryin Newton. A private family burial will be at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton. Memorials to the First Presbyterian Church or to the Good Samaritan Fund of Park Centre maybe left at the church the morning of the service or at the funeral home. If you wish to mail the memorial to the funeral home, please add, Attn: Nicholson Family on the envelope.

Those left to honor Jack’s memory are his daughters, Janell (John) McClellan of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Janet Groen of Omaha, Neb.; three grandchildren, Katherine “Kaytie” (Jeff) Fuller of Omaha, Neb., Jenna (David) Estlick of Edina, Minn., and Jeremy (Jenny) Groen of Omaha, Neb.; and his two great-grandsons, Dominic and Jack Estlick.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Joyce in 2013.
