Stargaze at the Newton Public Library

The Des Moines Astronomical Society will lead an after-hours stargazing program Monday at the Newton Public Library. Attendees will learn how to spot planets and constellations while viewing the night sky with a telescope.

The program will begin at 8 p.m. in the library meeting room, then move to the library lawn after dark. Children are welcome to attend with an adult. This program is free and open to the public.
