• Andrew G. Meyer, 18, of Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana at 8:55 p.m. July 13 as part of a traffic stop on westbound Highway 163 near Prairie City. According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, Meyer was found to be in possession of the drug during the stop and later admitted to the officer it was his. Meyer was cited and released to appear in court.
• Kristi Jo Wooldridge, 49, of Kellogg, was arrested and charged with first-degree domestic abuse-assault Saturday after an argument with her daughter became physical. According to sheriff’s office reports, deputies were called to a residence at 12:37 p.m. in the 500 block of Market Street. Wooldridge’s alleged assault was to the victim’s head which caused bleeding. Wooldridge was arrested and taken to the Jasper County Jail. A no-contact order was issued between the parties in the case.
