SIOUX CITY — Morningside College presented master of arts in teaching (MAT) degrees and master of science in nursing (MSN) degrees to spring graduates during its June 9 graduate commencement ceremony.
The Morningside College Graduate Program in Education offers the MAT degree with special education and professional educator tracks. All graduate program in education courses are offered online.
The Morningside College Graduate Program in Nursing offers the MSN degree with three tracks: clinical nurse leader, family primary care nurse practitioner, adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. Courses are delivered in an online classroom setting with flexible on-campus residency options.
Area students receiving degrees include Jennifer L. Gumerov of Colfax, master of arts in teaching; Christie Hughes of Newton, master of arts in teaching; Kylie N. Werden of Newton, master of arts in teaching; and Justin M. White of Newton, master of arts in teaching.
