Baxter baseball loses to Nevada

NEVADA — The Baxter baseball team is still in search of the program’s first win.

The Bolts lost 9-0 to BCLUW on Monday in the season opener and then followed that up with a 17-3 loss to Nevada on Tuesday night.

Senior Travis Lindemoen had one hit and two walks to lead the Bolts at the plate. Sophomore Carter Nelsen (0-1) doubled at the plate and struck out five on the mound.

Senior Bryce Bacon and sophomore Cole Damman both had singles.

The Bolts play North Tama at 5 p.m. Friday in Traer.
