Seniors Morgann Eide and Liz McVey and junior Abbie Barr lead the Newton girls’ shuttle hurdle relay team into the state meet, ranking 17th at 1:09.37. Eide competes in her fourth straight state hurdle relay event while McVey and Barr in their third shuttle relay at state.
McVey competed on the shuttle relay as a freshman and a junior. They are joined by freshman Kate Callaghan. Berkland and sophomore Liv Whitten are the alternates.
